Is it now open the call for nominations for the 2015 GBIF Young Researchers Award, which will highlight innovative research, developed by students in master's or doctoral studies in the field of Biodiversity Informatics. The two prizes will be awarded with a money prize of 4 000€ each.
The applications must be submitted to the Portuguese GBIF Node, which will select the two candidates to be proposed to the Scientific Committee of the GBIF by the head of the Portuguese delegation. Candidates must have citizenship of a voting country or associated country of GBIF.
The applications must satisfy the requirements and detailed guidance in the attached document. The deadline for submission of applications is 15 February 2015. Applications must be submitted in English and sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The two applications selected at national level will be later submitted to the national GBIF Head of Delegation by 3 March 2015.
