Jobs opportunities in the GBIF International Secretariat

Two jobs opportunities was provided by the GBIF Secretariat are available :
 
Programme Officer for Content Mobilisation - will support the global effort to make biodiversity data freely accessible to all via the Internet. The candidate will work with a network of nodes and data publishers that have potential interest to GBIF, identifying strategic opportunities and solutions available online. He will assist in expanding and enriching content available through the infrastructure of the GBIF data, which currently houses approximately 430 million records of biodiversity published freely online.

Programme Officer for Content Analysis and Use - the GBIF Secretariat seeks an experienced researcher to engage with the scientific community and to support the use of biodiversity data available through the GBIF network, demonstrating its relevance to the advancing of science and informing better policies and decisions.
 
The successful candidate will engage GBIF’s key users groups and expert communities, helping to ensure that data mobilized  through the network are as useful as possible in addressing key issues relating to the biodiversity science,conservation and sustainable use.
